Lowe's had the $12 cannas for $1 yesterday. They also have a nice selection of mums for the same price if you are willing to wait for the new buds to form.

Toad lily 'Blue Horizon' at Lowe's for $8 something. The daisy 'Broadway Lights' is on the dollar rack. This is the one that starts out yellow and goes white.

Monica picked up roses on sale. What she isn't going to use will be at the meeting tonight. I've got dibs on some of them for John's bed and maybe Mary's bed. Anywhere else.
The daylilies will also be at the meeting so we can decide how to handle them.

Big Lots has dormant fruit trees and ornamental trees for $12. These are all at least 5'. There are apples, pears and peaches. Ornamentals include the Cleveland Pear that is used as a street tree in this area. They also have an ornamental Mongolian Pear which is a smaller street tree grown for its foliage.

$5.00 for a huge pot of jasmine at Lowe's. Sorry, I bought all the geranium 'Rozanne'. It is going into Mary's Bed on the embankent.
