The final planting date on Friday My 16 is subject to good weather. It will start at 9 a.m. and run until noon. Watch your e-mail or contact Lisa or the garden club for verification. If the weather is bad it will be moved to the following Monday.
Lisa needs help to supervise the kids for this session. The other sessions it is bring your gloves, a shovel and a bucket.
Butterfly friendly plants are being collected. The list Monica uses at Parker Dam is at http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/forestry/wildplant/herbaceous.aspx  Lisa is also willing to accept non-native plants especially those that bloom in the spring and fall when classes are in session.

See the pictures of this bed in the picture gallery that were taken by Lisa this fall. The bed turned out really cute and is attracting some butterflies. Lisa has requested a senna plant that was donated this year in hopes of attracting some sulfur butterflies. More next spring.
We need to get some pictures of the one at Oklahoma School next year. Pat says there is a water feature.
